Additional ONT on property?
Hi all,
I am wondering if somebody can advise me on the possibility of having a second ONT box installed on my property in an area with awful signal as i am getting less than 100mbps on WiFi while Ethernet is getting 840+mbps.
In my last property i just drilled a hole between my office and the living room and ran a 50m ethernet through, but have a few more walls in my new property, so want to find something less destructive this time around.
Downstairs is currently wired up using a switch to connect multiple devices via ethernet and ideally I would have the sane upstairs for my office with my work laptop, pc and consoles wired up.
Any advice is massively appreciated.
Kind regards,
Kieran.

Re: Additional ONT on property?
There's only one ONT for a fibre circuit.
A second ONT requires an additional broadband subscription to light up a second core on the optical drop cable.
