ASUS app not picking up router

I just received my new ASUS AX-AT58U, to replace my SKY SR. Installed the app to my iPhone 16 Pro, can pick up the router (taking some time) and connected to it when I go back to the app to set it up I saids notice connection failed see picture attached

it just keeps searching and displaying that time after time. I have it just plugged

 the internet cable for now, the led is shown red LED.

@Danny2610 Do you have any experience of setting up a router?

Yeah many yp link and Netgear in the past first time use ASUS thru an app.

@Danny2610 What connection type do you have for the BB, and do you still need to maintain a landline?

Take it we are dealing with the ASUS RT-AX58U and not the ASUS AX-AT58U
