4 landline phones in house. Only one works, at the Main socket.
I was with Now broadband for several years. In June 2025 they told me they would transfer me to Sky for a cheaper price. No problem except I had to have a new landline number. Again no problem as I very rarely use my landline, I only need it for broadband. However, when I tried to use one of my 4 landline phones. Only one would work, the main ex-BT socket. I thought I would contact Sky and ask their advice. I went online and spoke to a "bot". Do you think I could get anywhere ? I went right throughout all the options but was unable to get anywhere, and certainly was unable to speak to a human. How do I progress from here ? Are my three phones dead, or do I need a Sky Tech person to come to my house ? I'm stumped ?

@bw10 I imagine that with Sky you have internet calls, where the phone that's working is plugged into your broadband Hub. Phones plugged into extension sockets won't work, I'm afraid.
The way around it, if you want additional phones, is to invest in a cordless DECT phone, where only the base station plugs into your broadband Hub, and the handset(s) connect to it wirelessly. The handsets are, therfore, portable and can be carried from room to room, or if you want a handset permanently located in a particular room, there are DECT phones available with as many handsets as you wish to have.
