4.2 HUB

I HAVE EQUIPENT CONNECTED VIA THE BROAD BAND. MOST ASK FOR 2.4GHZ, 802.11B ANS A VISIBLE SSID.

DOES THE NEW HUB MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS

The 4.2 hub is the Sky Broadband Hub (SR203), the 'new' hub is the Sky Max Hub (SR213). Both broadcast on 2.4GHz & 5GHz bands and both display visible SSIDs (nothing could connect if not, via wifi).

802.11b is completely outdated though: that's a wireless standard from a quarter century ago.

The Sky Broadband Hub is 802.11ac and the Max Hub is 802.11ax
