1mbs download to my hub
1mbs to my hub, guaranteed to provided me a still laughable 58mbs which is clearly a pipe dream. Dealing with the chat bot utterly mind numbing. Spending £195 a month for sky services and it's just so disappointing. Want to book an engineer for asap and can't do it.

Re: 1mbs download to my hub
@Sarbs is the issue speed to the hub or spedd to your device from the hub? The former would be an issue as if your connection speed which you can check in the Connection Test in the My Sky app was only 1Mb/s as thst would be far below the guaranteed speed for your line click on the Broadband link to see the history and if its is really low the app should offer further help. The speed a partial fibre service delivers is set by the length of the line from the cabinet to your home and 58Mb/s is going to be the best the technology can deliver. Full fibre sorts that but I assume your street has not as yet been upgraded.
If its wifi speeds in your home that are the issue then join the club. In many homes, including my own, requires more than the free Sky hub to get usable wifi in every room. Either pay Sky for https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi kit.

Hey Chrisee 🙋🏾♂️
it's to the hub.
I understand things fail that's life, my issue is how obstructive the process to book an engineer or speak with a human sky offer. There's so many unemployed, employ so more humans and improve customer satisfaction, if there was a similar alternative to sky I'd be long gone

There's extremely unlikely to be any location where Sky is the only ISP: that's just not how the UK broadband network functions. All Openreach ISPs use the same delivery infrastructure though.

@Sarbs sounds bad if you have the black Sky hub please post your connection stats as they should show what is wrong see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics
