missing rolled over data!

hi, started a contract four months ago but only just activated the sim this month so thought i would have built up rolled over data in my piggybank!

was expecting 8gig to be there as on 2gb per month!

 

any one else had this issue please?

@roofer142  Data can only start to rollover on a live (activated) sim, as you have only just activated there is no data to roll.  You wouldn't have been charged for the plan until you activated the sim so you have lost nothing.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi, we have paid full price for four months even though the sim was not activated, because its a contract we have to pay!

Was the contract you started 4 months ago for a phone or device as you should start paying for the sim until you activate it ?

Was for a an iPhone with 2gb an unlimited calls texts so had to pay for handset monthly!

I understand now, but as @GD1 has said with rolled over data in the piggybank this doesn't start until you have activated the sim, if there was free data with the phone then that can take up to 30 days to be added to the piggybank from when you activate the sim.
