Re: What fixes are in Q160 ?
@Not+better SKY generally do not supply any formal notes and/or a detailed list.
The following was given and noted on page 185 of the current mega thread:
The firmware update Q160.000.29.00L (5bucbis) is;
- Ready to broadcast the Olympics live in HDR
- Auto Download now works with kids shows (better known as Autoplay)
- Welsh subtitles are now available on S4C
- Watch Now improvements
- Fixes to address:-
- Boxes spamming SSDP requests and slowing down the network
- Sound dropouts on v3 boxes for recordings, downloads, and apps
- PIN requests not showing correctly when using Disney+
- Box returning to channel 998 after watching UHD
- Pixilation when watching recordings on the mini
I guess there will be other tweaks and maybe a few adjustments after the testers feedback before the release that is now being generally rolled out

Re: What fixes are in Q160 ?
Ok thanks for that 👍
my concern is all the chat concerning drop outs seems to me to cover 1-2 seconds of silence on live broadcasts
my concern is the garbled audio seems to be over looked, where any video be it a recording or live or streamed feed will break up. Garbled. Only to be fixed by recstarting the feed in another place. Usually rewinding a touch. Then all is well

Re: What fixes are in Q160 ?
@Not+better V2 box and still fit for the purpose had the Q150 update no issues prior to that update.
Have the Q160 update no issues prior to that update the two updates haven't broken the Sky Q box seeing as audio dropouts was not an issue in the first place.
Are you actually on Q160?

It has been mentioned that Q160 doesn't address the dropouts on live TV. This is apparently a broadcast issue and will be addressed on a "per channel" basis.
My experience of dropouts on live TV on channels I watch most is on ITV and Sky News. Sky One, Sky Witness and Premier Sport plus some others have never had any dropouts. Odd thing is that Premier Sport never had any dropouts on recording prior to the Q150 update where as other recordings did.
Sky Q 2TB v2 (Q150.000.28.00L) + ; 2x Mini, Philips 55OLED806, Lumagen Radiance Pro 4242,
Yamaha RX-A3080 + NAD C270 (7.1.4)

Re: What fixes are in Q160 ?
My 3 x Mini Boxes completely stopped working over a Wired Ethernet Connection after this upgrade.
The Sky engineer replaced the Mini Boxes with earlier firmware and set them up so that they would not automatically go into standby, as they can self update when in standby.
Going back to earlier firmware brought everything back to life.

@MBynorthApart from turning the mains off at night none of the settings will prevent them from upgrading the software.
