Hi, this post was something I was very reluctant and scared to do. But because of the guild I want to let it out.
I want to confess to watching sports online on streams in the past. This includes live football, boxing, cricket, tennis, wrestling etc. On top of this also watching PPV events. The events were on Sky and BT among other channels.
Watching illegal streaming is global, the prices are of the reasons people resort to it. But that doesn't make it right. I violated your rights and want to make up for it. Please advise how I can compensate for these past doings. I won't do this again and will look to get a subscription.
Please can I have an answer from @sky
Thanks

All you can do is to make sure you subscribe to legal content going foward.

I doubt Sky will reply but would appreciate it so much. I am willing to compensate because I feel guilty. It won't happen again in the future but for the past I am happy to compensate whatever Sky demand

Ask them to put you on a non-discounted package. I'm sure they'd oblige.

Sky does a lot of work to support local communities. You can do a lot worse than contributing to one of their partner charities.

The profits from PPV largely go to the combatants and their promotors, who really don't need any more money, and televised football/cricket/tennis isn't exactly impoverished either (or Sky/Comcast, for that matter). I think the suggestion from @PeteRG41 is excellent: donate what you feel is appropriate to either a charity supported by Sky or one active in sports access.
