Why can't I start a program already started from the begining

Because watch from start has been extremely broken since end of December.

No announcement has been made as usual. Just user experience.

Probably better to add it to your Playlist and hope it becomes available on ITV Hub.

Time for everyone to phone up and report this, clearly placing on this forum is achieving nothing.

@Dazzar51 from my conversations with Sky, this is a known issue that they are working to resolve, although no time frame has been given for a fix.
