What good is Sky prizes and offers to people who been with the 7+ years when nearly all offers or prizes are in England ? Are people in Scotland and Wales expected to travel miles for a show .

I've been with Sky for 20+ years, and haven't yet come across an offer that I would want to take up. And I'm in England.

But Sky VIP is free anyway, so I don't feel as though I've missed out on anything.

But that's the difference I see offers I would like to go to but it's always in England .

I suppose Sky can only offer the locations that the relevant company offers to Sky.

Yes?

To be fair there have been Cadw and National Trust for Scotland VIP promotions in the past but almost nothing in the way of other events: last time I looked the nearest participating cinema to here was a 120 mile round trip.

It's a matter of geography (or rather topography), really: from this bit of Wales the Welsh Mountain Zoo (Conwy), Swansea and Mold are all at least a couple of hours away (given you're lucky to average 40mph on the local roads) and on the other side of a mountain range or two, and I suspect it's similar in most of Scotland outside the Glasgow-Edinburgh corridor.  However as Wales is only the size of Wales, everywhere looks a lot closer to someone sitting in the offices of a corporate promotion company somewhere in the south-east of England ; )

Blonde live isn't coming to Glasgow it shows only English venues .The National Trust is for England and Wales , it tells you Scotland National Trust is a different organisation  .  The Zoo I never looked at but yes it show Edinburgh . I have a look at the rest you have said are in Scotland

And why is it that it's mostly kids things? What about those of us with no little kids? Also, I do not see Blondie in Scotland.

Infact if you live in England you can enter everything as they have the venues all over England but Scotland and Wales are limited to a few things we can enter . I suppose we should be happy with a zoo visit and  Peppa Pig in one city to cover the whole length of Scotland .

As already mentioned, Sky simply pass on to their VIPs the offers and promotions they receive. They have no say over the venue or location. Pot luck, I'm afraid.

Re. Blondie, it was there in Glasgow when I looked earlier. They must have taken it off. (blondie are playing in Glasgow 22nd April )

Sky customer for 20+ years and have never seen an offer that I can make use of. We would have to catch a flight or ferry to the mainland first!

Plus, they do deals for Sky Mobile, Sky Fibre... none of which are available here.

Who is going to enter a draw that they have to drive hours to get to ? I suppose driving with young kids for 10 hrs  to see Fireman Sam seems like a sensible solution smh . Not to mention the cost of fuel .
These people on defending it don't work for Sky ??? Yeah right .

Believe what you like. Those 'defending' Sky are speaking from a commonsense perspective, perhaps with a slightly better understanding than you of the way the VIP scheme operates.
