Re: Using volume buttons stops blu ray playing
Hi @tj68
I would completely change your cabling.
An HDMI cable out of your Sky Q box and in to the Soundbox (the black IN port in the middle)
Then another HDMI cable out of the Soundbox and in to your TV
Then an HDMI cable from your Bluray in to your TV
Then an optical cable from your TV to your Soundbox
Whwn watching your bluray - choose optical on the Soundbox menu and choose the appropriate HDMI port on your TV remote
As for your volume control stopping your Bluray. That is odd
When setting up your Sky Q remote - try not pairing it to your TV, just to the Soundbox
Or even - don't pair your Sky Q remote with any other device

Re: Using volume buttons stops blu ray playing
Remote is already paired so cant unpair it and set up is as you say now the volume is fine in optical its just i cant adjust volume or the blu ray tray opens, i will just watch blu ray through tv speaker, not ideal but sick of fiddling with it now. Thanks for the reply

Hi @tj68
To unpair your Sky Q remote - just press and hold 7 and 9 together for a few seconds until the little red light flashes

Hi @tj68
I realised I mistyped the "remote reset" numbers earlier.
If you want it -
