Unable to watch rented film on sky Q

We have rented Fanatic on sky store but we are unable to watch it on tv, can this be resolved?

You can only watch a Sky Store-rented film on the device you rented it on.

Why are you unable to watch it it on your TV, did you rent it via the Sky Store website or app ?

You can only watch a Sky Store-rented film on the device you rented it on.

If you rented it online @Craig887  and you have for example a laptop or pc with an HDMI output you can plug that in to your TV, or if by any chance you have an LG smart TV you can download the sky Store app on that 

 

You can't however stream wirelessly from

a tablet or phone to your TV 

 

This just applies to rentals, with a "buy and keep" you can send it to your box

Its showing in my store on App but cant see film on sky box. Also wont allow me to move rebted film to Sky box

In case it helps for future, I don't believe that to be exactly true

 

I don't think it's locked to a specific device, I think it's just restricted to devices you have registered with Sky Store. So my understanding is that if you rent on a PC, there's nothing to stop you viewing the rental on a laptop or tablet 

 

I've copied the terms below - but if you've time I'd be grateful if you could put it to the test. Do you have a second  "non Sky box" device registered with Sky Store  that you could try to view on ?

b. Subject to these Terms, rental Content may be rented and viewed on any Device you have registered for use with the Service. However, you cannot view Content you've rented on a Device on a Box.
