Unable to return sky equipment
Hiya, I have been given a date to return my sky equipment by is there anyway of exstending it. As I am currently unable to do so due to unavoidable circumstances. I am currently in hospital on a mother and baby unit. I am unsure when I will be released but it will not be before I am ment to send the equipment back. Thanks Lydia

Re: Unable to return sky equipment
Is there an adult at your address that can return the equipment on your behalf? You aren’t addressing Sky Customer Services here. This is primarily a customer helps customer forum and there will be no contact from Sky. If you fail to return it on time you are likely to get letters/emails/texts reminding you and pointing out non return fees will be charged.
Providing you’ve cancelled successfully the returns packaging is usually sent out near the end of a cancellation period, so 31 days for TV / 14 days for broadband (to the address that the account is registered at).
You can reuse the box any new equipment came in. If you don’t have that you can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you should always put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included.

If you haven’t anything suitable give Sky another call. Keep your proof of posting very safe and indefinitely as Unipart, who handle the UK returns, don’t appear to be that well organised.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards and NOT via Direct Messaging
