Ultrafast Plus available but not available..

Wondering if anyone was able to make sense of my situation.  Recently we have had building works to install FTTP cabable infrastructure around my area.

2 days ago i received a leaflet from Sky sqaying Ultrafast Plus is now available on my street and gives me a web link to the broadband order page or a phone number with a code to quote.

I tried the online checker but it's not showing as being available and i have tried calling this morning but the phone keeps cutting off after the automated message so assume Sky are having issues with their contact centre.

It's a bit confusing that the leaflet (addressed to my house) confirms Sky Ultrafast is available but online it's showing it's not.

Any thoughts?

@WelshmanOfWarI also got some information through, but it was around 6-8 weeks after the install and could see that I could get g.fast and then ultrafast plus was added in. The flyer could be just as you said to get people calling in or going to the website.

@WelshmanOfWarI found when the street I am in when it got FTTP that it was not avialable from Sky right away, even though when I did check via Openreach that Sky was a FTTP provider.

If you go to the Sky website and login then go to broadband at the top it should take you to what services are available to you through Sky. But you also might have to wait till their database has been updated to show that you can get ultrafast plus via Sky.

Thanks for this, it does seem a bit strange that marketing flyers are sent but nothing shows online.  You would think that the details would be updated before sending out flyers so existing customers wanting to upgrade don't have to go into a loop of confusion to understand why it cannot be ordered.  Unless the leaflet is solely to snag new customers 🤔
