The Touch Pad on the remote for my Sky Q Mini Box has stopped working. All of the buttons still work but the touch pad is completely unresponsive. I have carried out all the steps in both the the online guides for "Fixing a Problem with My Remote and My Sky Q Remote will not control my Sky Q Box" with no success. The Box and remote have been re set and re paired as advised and yes, the Touch Control box is set to yes !
Any further suggestions gratefully received as it currently seems impossibleto speak to Sky themselves either by text or telephone due to Covid or could someone like @Tom-W19 arrange for a replacement to be sent to me ?

I'm afraid you will have to persevere by contacting Sky direct for a free replacement. Just in case you are not aware, the old touch remotes were discontinued years ago. Only button voice remotes are available now.

Hi @timtaylor1958 As suggested the old SKYQ touch pad remote controls are no longer available.
You can order a new remote from the SKY store, or from the accessorys section on the main SKYQ box, also from the My Sky App!

@Gnome if you call Skyb they should send you a new remote free of charge or alternatively you can purchase one from many online store includinging Sky and some high street retailors
