Hi - I've just got a new Sony Soundbar with Dolby Atmos & want to check what I should plug where!
Am I correct that the Soundbar should be connected to the E Arc HDMI on my TV whilst the Sky Q box can then be plugged into my HDMI 2?
Thanks 🙂

hi @kangood
Yes the sound bar should be connected directly to the (e)ARC port on your TV.
This allows any sound from your TV to be routed to the Sound Bar
You should be able to use any other 4K capable HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 connection on your TV for SKY.
You need to make sure that the TV will pass the Dolby Atmos (carried on Dolby Digital Plus) through to the (e)ARC output - I am guessing if it is eARC this will be set by default but you may need to check just in case
If you get lip Synch issues & the Sound Bar has other 4K inputs and can pass through HDR then connecting SKY Q directly to the Sound Bar may help
