Hello, 

 

could someone please let me know the latest sky glass software number?

 

I have had the 55" tv for just over a week and when watching live sport it keeps flickering and takes me back about 3 seconds and plays again. This happens every few minutes, I'm internet speed is a steady 50mbs download so cannot be this. 

The picture is dark and I cannot seem to make it brighter.

 

also the puck does exactly the same and I also have an issue with the remote connecting to the sky puck, each day I have to reconnect it by holding number 1 and 3 together.

 

any information would be great.

The picture is dark on UHD because sky are using HLG HDR, this requires a television with a high level of NITS (lighting). Unfortunately this is hardware and unlikely to improve too much, sky may be able to do some behind the camera trickery,  but sadly it is just a performance issue on HLG UHD HDR with the television

I'm guessing the updated version will be pushed automatically on Tuesday , just like it does with Sky Q boxes

It will not be pushed, it will be available on Glass from Tuesday and my understanding is customers will have to go in to settings and update manually

Is this update defo going ahead,I though I had read somewhere that it seemed to fix the flickering but caused other hdmi connection issues?

I have captured some stills from videos I took of the flickering and sent them to a Sky help desk person and they have said that mine is not going to be fixed by the software update due out tomorrow. I may need a hardware swap. They're looking into it.
