Sky q mini box channels freezing

I have a Sky Q mini box in my daughters bedroom directly above our living room where the main Sky Q box is located along with our Wi-fi. The problem I'm getting and it's been from when I had sky installed is that the sky q mini box picture freezes, I've tried all the channels and it happens to them all. I've reset my main Sky Q box along with my mini box and still the same problems. I've also reset my Wi-fi. My Wi-fi is also with sky. any help is appreciated.

When you reset the Network on the mini (Settings / Setup / Network / Reset), at step 2 of 4 on screen which box are you pressing the WPS button on? The main box or the router? Whichever it is, try the other as it might provide a stronger signal to the mini box.
