Sky go

Someone who I no longer wish to log into my sky go, is still logging into it. I remove their device but they keep being able to log back in.
I've removed them and made sure all 6 device spaces are full. It just kicks one out and they log back in.
I've rang twice and also reset password twice too.
what can be done? I do not want them accessing my sky services! We should be able to block devices. Or at least changing the password should work, but it doesn't. Any help appreciated.

This will get rid of them:

First change your password:

https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

Then go to this link:

https://skyid.sky.com/authorise/manage

If you tick "Sky Apps" and then the remove button, then anyone using SkyGo or SkyNews or SkySports apps etc. using your credentials will have the previous auth token removed and will be forced to sign in again (using the new password only you know). Will mean people you want to use your ID will need to do the same, but will force whoever is using your previous details off!

Re: Sky go

Thanks. I will try this. But have already changed the password twice. And spoken to sky advisor twice, who followed their process. None of which worked and they still keep logging in. I also filled all the available device slots, and they have managed to kick one out and log back in too 😱 hopefully your idea/links will work. Thank you 😊

This will work as it has for many that have tried it via here in the past !

I would change your password again though before going onto the second section.

Re: Sky go

Hi, gutted. That didn't work. I followed the steps, how you advised,
removed a device from my list and it still plays my sky go. I didn't even have to log in again. It just played. So assuming that would be the same for the person who I don't want to use it.
many other ideas please?

Did you also do this:

So after doing this you were not asked by Sky Go to enter your new password ?

Re: Sky go

No. I also removed a device via mysky app too. And it didn't even log the device out. I could still watch And I didn't have to enter new password or even any log in details.

Re: Sky go

This happens for me as well. I've reset the password and removed all app privileges but it still just logs in without asking for the new password! There must be a method to block a decode surely?!
