Sky+ box crashing

Recently my sky+ box has been crashing and is unuseable at this time, have reset it several times and left it off over night to cool down but after 5 mins of being on it crashs and i am unable to turn it off by remote or by the power button on the top so i have to unplug it. Its also very hot to the touch and has been happening just under a week now.
