Sky TV and BT fibre

We currently have BT broadband Halo 2, with Sky Q. It all works well for a time, but we have had to have a Sky booster hard wired to the BT router to get the mini box upstairs working. When the internet goes down it's a stressful time trying to get everything re-connected. We're now being offered BT full fibre. Has anyone else gone from our setup to this, and if so what sort of issues did it throw up both in terms of new wiring and service. I'm concerned that BT will set the fibre up, but probably refuse to have anything to do with our |Sky Q, which could just be more hassle than it's worth. Thanks in advance!

We went from BT ADSL to BT FTTP while using Sky Q: there's no significant change other than starting to view a UHD item on demand is a whole lot faster.  Note that just moving to FTTP doesn't do anything to solve WiFi issues within the property: it's the external connection which is vastly improved.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
