Sky Router is preventing Netflix titles being displayed
So I have noticed recently that some Netflix titles were missing from my searches and on my "continue to watch" list within Netflix. Having contacted Netflix they cannot understand what was going on.
The issue appears when I use Netflix via the TV app (Smart TV) or via Netflix loaded onto a Firesticks - all using the Sky Router.
However if I use the Netflix App on my phone or on my laptop (again via my Sky WiFi Router) it all works fine and displays all titles. Also it works fine on the TV app and via the Firesticks if I switch off my Sky router and use my mobile data as a hotspot instead.
So it seems that the Sky router is somehow preventing some titles from loading within Netflix when run through a TV Netflix App or Firesticks Netflix Apps - not only do these titles not load, they don't even appear on search lists for me - neighbours on different ISP's don't have any problems.
I have tried un-installing netflix and re-installing etc but the issue remains. By a process of deductions etc the only common issue causing this fault is the Sky Router.
This issue appeared initially about 2 weeks ago then fixed itself a few days later - now it has happened again this weekend and still shows the fault 3 days later; and hence getting annoying now.
Anyone come across this or know a fix?
Many Thanks

Re: Sky Router is preventing Netflix titles being displayed
It sounds like interference on wireless, can you test the throughput speed on either device when this happens and can you watch anything on either device when this happens if the throughput speed cannot be tested? The solution would be to run an ethernet cable or reposition the router high up without any obstacles in the way, eg: if the issue was the router then these titles would not show on any device and it does, and the reason for this is the titles are new and the old titles are cached.

Re: Sky Router is preventing Netflix titles being displayed
Many thanks for the input - the wireless speed test on all devices is fine - I have 3 x firesticks throughout the house in different locations and they all run fine for speed, and my TV also checks out fine too - it is literally sat on top of my sky router anyway.
Most Netflix titles play fine with zero buffering etc and all other items like Amazon Prime stuff play perfectly fine.
There are specific titles that are missing from my Netflix lists when I run my TV through my Sky Router (they were there last week) - and the exact same titles are missing on any of the other 3 x firesticks that I have throughout the house. I would expect to see random streaming issues across all platforms and titles if there was interference on the wireless - this is very specific to a handful of Netflix titles only....which then run perfectly fine if I switch off the sky router and use my mobile phone data instead.
Netflix do not know how to resolve the issue, but they did confirm that this is now a known problem across multiple users. There seems to be some configuration issue between Sky and Netlix that is affecting certain specific Netflix titles for some users.

Re: Sky Router is preventing Netflix titles being displayed
It may be worth trying to disable the broadband shield/Buddy to ascertain whether they are blocking those titles as a test?
