Sky Q remote

I have changed the batteries in my remote but still won't work .When I hit the ? button the remote flashes. I've tried holding 1 and 3 to pair but nothing is happening. Tried resetting the remote (7 and 9) and tried pairing but nothing seems to work.

Any advice is greately appreciated

Hi @MA1089 

Try to pair the remote in Home - Settings - Setup - Remote control.

When you are asked to press 1 &3 make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box.

Hi @MA1089 

Have you rebooted the Q box.

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

yeah I've tried that too. Don't want to spend money on a new remote but think I may have to 😞
