Sky Q remote not working

Does anyone know if there's a fix for a sky Q remote thats not working? I've tried  turning off at the mains, changing batteries, pressing 1&3, 7&9, resetting, but nothing works,driving me crazy now. Wondering if it's easier just to get a new remote, even though it's less than 6 months old!

Hi @Danielonsky1234 

Have you checked that no buttons are stuck?
Are you pressing the remote buttons in the correct order?

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Sounds like you've tried everything but note 7&9 resets and 1&3 pairs so make sure you are doing it in that order, not the order in your post

if its only 6 months old and has failed chances are Sky will replace it if you call them. If they won't you can buy one for £20-30

In the meantime download a phone app to tide you over.

Thanks, remote seems dead  and no buttons seem stuck so guess it's a new remote. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for your advice. The remote doesn't respond at all so can't do anything regarding the 1&3 7&9 trick or resetting as it's completely unresponsive and the little led doesn't light up for anything. Guess it's a new remote, will ring them tomorrow.
