Sky Q remote TV guide quick functions not working

I have just had a new Sky Q box installed and new remote.  The remote appears to be working correctly but the coloured buttons (red, green, yellow, blue) for TV Guide quick functions are not working.  I cannot jump forward or back by 24hrs so have to scroll through hr x hr which is a nuisance to say the least

Hi @AC65   Sky Q is a modern User Interface. Gone are the old fashioned ideas of using obscure coloured buttons to do anything. Hit the "?" button for help or ask here any help if it is not obvious. 😀

So why are Sky still manufacturing/issuing new Q-box controllers (received mine 20/08/20) with coloured buttons if these have no function?!  Also, in the absence of any printed User's Manuals, why don't Sky provide a diagramatic illustration of the Q-controller with a note of the buttons various purposes on their Help site?

Agree. I shouldn't have to hunt on a forum to find out how to do something so basic. Have had a Sky Q box/remote for 3 months now and still find I have to come on here to find out how to use it.

Sorry not to be able to contribute any advice but refer my earlier post: Sky's lack of support with a clear diagramtic leaflet (online if needs be) when supplying the handset ... which is so not ergonomically friendly.  Good luck with getting more useful responses.

You mean like what's available when you press the ? Button, then help? There's a full diagram with exactly what each button does on there.

You don't need to ask on here, press ? Button then help.  There are full guides to all the remotes functions on there
