Need the whole story in one go @RiverbraidHarry 

If you have a Sky Q booster between the main Q box and the mini then when you carry out a Network reset on the mini you need to press the WPS button on the booster

 

Network Reset found in Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect to Sky Q booster by WPS.

You will be asked to press the WPS button on your WiFi booster  (not the mini)
