@Rhonny

That true I didn't😄 My Sony XF9005 is a 10-bit panel. I've had it for 2 years & am probably acclimatised to 8-bit & 10-bit through DV & UHD Blu Ray.

@rozel So full of yourself actually @rscott is correct "

hardware version 32B206 is the v3 box.  Sky don't reference the ES numbers on the labels on their box pages"

Box pages is referring to the Sky Q box manuals you do read manuals as well as labels

Hardware Version 32B206 is 2TB Box UHD ES340d9uk

Hardware Version 32B205 is 1TB Box UHD ES340d8uk

So if the engineer only had the 8UK then you would have known it was the 1TB Box as you no doubt made sure you read the label on the Sky Q box before you allowed the engineer to continue with the install.

So what you have a V3/ Titan box no different to the V2/Project Ethan II box(as I like to call mine) unless you want to get your tape measure out

Is it Fall or Fail of the Titans

How rude, especially when you are both wrong!

Please read, inwardly digest and then say you think you are right - there's only 3 pages ........................................

https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Q/Which-box-do-I-have/td-p/3127766

If you still think you are right, then give a full explanation as to why please.

@KYIdols

The only purpose of this thread now is the challenge of trying to bump it up to the longest one ever on this forum🥴

If anyone were to remove all the duplicate and irrelevant posts constantly stating the same points,  the same information and the obvious,  this thread would be only be about three pages long😱

The deference between Apple Phone and your Sony product that u have mention is that they were paid for by u I would say my SkyQ is rented and if u leave Sky it goes back to them so while I am renting and u r possibly renting also but the way u r talking u might not b,as I am renting and new updates keep coming I as a renter wants the best possible Sky Experience possible for my money,so I still say us renters who have not got a up compatible 1tb/ 2tb Sky box should have a upgrade for nowt.   Rant Over

Re: Sky HDR

@Roger+Peters  I'm spending time watching how many Q boxes have magically broken down or developed faults in the last 2 days 🤔

I bet there will be a few disappointed chancers who will either end up with another V1 box or a clapped out "refurb" with an inherent fault or dodgy hard disk.

The phrase "careful what you wish for" might apply🤪

Re: Sky HDR

@Roger+Peters  yep. I have a v1 box and you know what, I'm at peace with it. If there was a stack of HDR content, I might be looking for a new box one way or another, but there is so little content, ill wait it out for a possible box swap a few months down the line.  However, anyone that got a v1 in the last year or so,  I can understand the frustration.

I Don't even bloody like Lemurs 😁

Re: Sky HDR Gems+151

@rawhide1  I agree you should be upgraded for free but sky haven't made any reference to a charge been applied so all the ranting is pathetic over 3 average documentaries there's a lot of grown adults acting and sounding like children
