Hi @jennykins1963   In my case over 3 months! So anytime from next day to next year.

Re: Sky HDR

@FordPuma2020 Yes but presumably you registered like myself before the boxes were released.  Now they are available I would think the replies should be a lot quicker.

Re: Sky HDR

@Stephen+Mourton

Several weeks ago, the Sky team used an automated system to send out the "golden e-mails"

to those of us who had registered an interest. When that was completed we were told that

some of us could not be dealt with automatically and that we would be dealt with manually.

Some have since received the email but others (like me) have not.

We have no way of checking if Sky even have our registration.  Sky customer services are

not dealing with it and we cannot contact the team involved apart from requests posted

on here which sometimes prompt a response. So the answer to your query is that you may

indeed get the email soon but if they do not have your registration, you may not.

Lets hope it is the former😃

Re: Sky HDR

Me as well, becoming increasingly frustrated with sky notr esponding to any of my messages, terrible way to treat a customer who has been with sky more than 20 years.I hsve a beautiful tv,get hdr from prime and netflix but l sky dont seem to care.Maybe i should"accidentaly"  damage existing box.Would never do that but i dont see because i was an early sky q subsciber that i should be ignored, zurely long standing customers sbould have been offered the upgrade first.

Any update on emails? Are they still being issued? Still waiting

Re: Sky HDR

@Kodibhoy  Me too. Not a sign and no messages from the Sky team. Seems there is either 'Hundreds' of people in this boat and they cannot keep up, or we are just 'lost souls' 😞

Re: Sky HDR

I registered my interest on day one, and just got the email.  My intention is to check if its a V3 box when it arrives, if it isn't I wont be swapping, they can take it away and bring the correct "latest" model as paid for.

Re: Sky HDR - French open on Eurosport

Pity SKY haven't got HDR on the 4K feed of the French Open on Eurosport

missed opportunity.

Re: Sky HDR

So i got the mail and upgraded to the HDR box over 5 days ago - but havent heard or seen anything since? Checked my future bills and it still hasnt been applied. Anyone else in the same situation?

Re: Sky HDR

Have the final bits been finalised?

I upgraded nearly two weeks ago and I still can't order a HDR compatible 2tb box! I keep getting told that option is 'greyed out'. They can send me a 1tb box instead

but I cannot then replace that with a2tb box!

@Garry+Redknap You've paid for an HDR capable box which could either be the V2 or V3 it doesn't stipulate which box you get unless you have requested the V3 and got evidence stating that you will get the V3 box either triplicate or signed in blood.

The correct lastest model could either be V2 V3

For me the lastest model would be V3 but seeing as V2 does HDR to me it wouldn't matter  as Netflix and Disney+ via the tv apps are HDR

Re: Sky HDR

I dont want the external power brick for aesthetic reasons, so I will go with the latest, and I would think most would agree, V3 is later than V2.  It's not as if it's a free swap.

Fair comment @Garry+Redknap  but like I said if you've signed up for the HDR upgrade V2 V3 both do HDR.

Unless you have stipulated for aesthetic reasons and you have been told it's going to be a V3 then yes it's not a free swap an HDR is an HDR box regardless of external or internal power unit. 🤣🤣
