Sky Go App - another possible fix
I've had the same Sky Go problems as lots of other people - try to start the app and it and it doesn't get past the splash screens saying 'updating' before it disapears.
I tried uninstalling and deleting the recomended folders lots of people have recomended under the %appdata% (I didn't try the commedy advice like emptying recycle bin, rebooting or using Window 7 LOL).
I'm working again now after over a week and the fix, for me, was turning my SkyQ box off and on (disconnecting power, not off with the remote). Frustratingly simple but I've noticed in the past that a network problem with my Sky box causes startup problems with the Sky Go app. Terrible!
I can't tell you this will work for you but its quick and easy to try. Hope it helps someone.
