Sky Glass - no off switch on tv?

I might be being silly here, but is there really no on/off switch on the sky glass TVs?

Have they designed it in such a way that it's always to be on standby unless you physically switch it off at the socket?

@Paul+Wolf82  All modern TV & setup boxes are designed to be left in Standby.  I can't remember the last time I had a TV with an Off switch.

This is the first tv I've bought in many years. Seems mad with the big push on everyone trying to save the planet and to save energy.

@Paul+Wolf82  TV's in standby use very little juice.

@Paul+Wolf82

The argument these days is that the extra wear on components caused by power cycling will cause enough premature failure to outweigh extra consumption in use, given that manufacturing typically takes more power than the device itself over its lifetime.
