Sky Glass keeps losing WiFi connection overnight

Had Sky Glass less than a week and need to input WiFi connection details every day. The connection seems to fail overnight. Connection with all other devices in the house remains good. I am able to connect via Ethernet, but it still asks to renew the connection each day. I have checked my settings and switched on the button to keep WiFi connection during standby. Why am Losing WiFi connection overnight each night?

Why won't the connection remain using Ethernet which is a hardwire connection? I am liking Glass, but the pain of losing the network connection is a pain in the **bleep**. 
Can any one advise what I am doing wrong, or if there a simple fix?

@JC2021 if you are using ethernet turn off the wifi connection in Settings/Network/Advanced which should help the stability. There is new firmware QS4.008 which also helps stabilise the network connections. Sky have said all Fire devices should be update by 17/2.

Hi,

Turned off WiFi connection and system standby and connected via Ethernet. When it works it works ok, but the following day I have to go through the same pain of having to reconnect. 

Glass is good. Having to reconnect every single time is a regimental pain in the **bleep**.

I have just turned off Wi-Fi and will give it a go but I had the same issues 

and it still freezes now and again 

I don't know why sky didn't have the option to plug your old sky dish directly into the tv so you could have it as a back up until they sorted all the issues it's got sky in the tv so they could have made it work

i don't have a free view aerial and to be honest I don't want one I pay enough to sky every month to not need one

@Cassarig  Would have been additional cost for hardware plus don't forget Glass is a streaming service with one of the core demographic people that can't get satellite reception.

If you're talking about Freesat too using the old Sky dish then you'd also need a hybrid LNB which many people don't have.

I know what cables I need for freesat but iam not paying for another box like I said I pay sky enough what iam saying is for those who have a dish it would have been a good idea the demographic don't interest me

@Cassarig You're missing the point.  If Sky had put the ability in to use your existing dish then people who had had Q would need a hybrid LNB installed to use that dish.  Hybrid LNBs weren't installed as standard, so even the ability to use Freesat in a Glass TV wouldn't work for the vast majority of people, thereby giving Sky potentially even more problems that they already have.  Many people don't know what an LNB is let alone what type they have.
