Skua mini connects to main box, all channel technical fault
I have moved a skywalk mini to an out house and connected via a cat6 cable to the router in the house and a router in the out building.
the mini box connects to the main SkyQ box but all channels have technical fault and recordings won't play either. Please help!

Hi @JonnypX6
Connecting to a Q router on Sky Broadband is fine but if you are on 3rd Party broadband you need to connect by Ethernet to your main Q box.

Re: Skua mini connects to main box, all channel technical fault
Thanks, in that case can I put a switch in at the house end to split the cable coming from the out house, one to the router and one to the skyq box?

Hi @JonnypX6
Connecting all Q boxes to a 3rd party router is fine. This connection can be directly or through simple unmanaged Ethernet switches

So just so I am crystal clear!
back of main sky q box to Ethernet switch.
from Ethernet switch down to out building, into another Ethernet switch
from that Ethernet switch to back of sky q mini box.

Does that router need to be the same one I have the main skyq box plugged into? As I have several routers off the main BT router.

Hi @JonnypX6
Yes, all the Q boxes need to be connected to the same router.
Best to carry out a Network reset on all Boxes starting with the main Q box and do not do any WPS just wait until the boxes connect.
After they have connected go into the hidden menu and turn off all Q box WiFi.
