Should I cancel my Netflix subscription
I'm still getting charged £14.99 per month from Netflix..... now that I have access to Netflix through Sky Q, should I cancel my subscription to Netflix?

Re: Should I cancel my Netflix subscription
You need to contact Sky and get the Ultimate TV add-on to your pack. This will switch your Netflix billing to Sky & you'll pay £6 for the exact same Netflix package.

Re: Should I cancel my Netflix subscription
You're meant to transfer your Netflix account to Sky when you add Ultimate TV. You just follow the instructions on the email you get upon adding Ultimate TV.
You don't start a new Netflix account with Sky.
(But if all you're doing is logging into Netflix on the Sky box, and you've not added Ultimate TV to your package, then don't cancel your account or you'll lose access to Netflix.)

Don't cancel your account, you need to transfer it to Sky @Claret+fan

Yes. But it depends on your package as to how many other screens/devices you can watch on. If you don't have the HD/UHD packs then you will have Netflix Standard which allows you to watch Netflix on just one device at a time. If you have HD & UHD packs then you get Netflix Premium which allows 4K viewing on up to four screens/devices.

Re: Should I cancel my Netflix subscription
Thanks, Sky said I can access 2 devices at once.
I can't access Netflix on my Sky Go, so I would still need to access the Netflix Mobile App, is this still possible if I move to Sky Netflix?

Yes, you can still access via the Netflix mobile app. Everything still works exactly as it does before - the only thing that changes is the billing. Rather than paying Netflix direct you pay Sky as part of your monthly Sky bill. It's all done automatically when you transfer your Netflix account to Sky via a link they send you.

Re: Should I cancel my Netflix subscription
That's great thank you.
My Netflix payment of £9.99 is due on 18/05/2021, does it matter when I do the change please? Sky said it will be £5 if added to my package.
Do I pay Netflix in advance or arrears please? I can't remember, thanks.

No problem. I wouldn't worry about your Netflix billing date - if you have already paid for part of the month ahead then Netflix will credit your account with any remaining days when you transfer the billing to Sky. This credit will stay on your Netflix account for whenever you decide to leave Sky and transfer back to Netflix billing. Alternatively I think you can contact Netflix direct and ask for it to be refunded to your payment card if you wish.
