Samsung Frame 2021 TV & Sky Q
Hi - I am going to purchase a 2021 Samsung Frame TV and wonder if it can remotely pick up my Sky Q or does it need to be hard wired to the Frame Box? Thanks

@ramjam82 you still need a HDMI cable between the Q main box and the TV
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile

Thanks Could I run a splitter from the main SkyQ box to the new TV?

@ramjam82 you can do but the best way if you want to run 2 TV's on Sky Q is to take out a multiscreen subscription and use a Sky mini box only downside is this does cost more and mini boxes cannot show UHD

Thanks
I do have x2 Mini Boxes already and don't want to spend on a third, so thought that I could run a splitter from the living room to the new TV

@ramjam82 as I said you can use a splitter but dependant on how long the hdmi cable will be would depend on the resolution you get on the new TV as the longer the cable the more signal degradation you get so if you are wanting UHD on the new TV then it may not be possible although with a mini on it you wouldn't get UHD either.
