So I have just tiered up in the last 4/5 weeks from gold to a platinum VIP customer however nothing has changed. Why have these schemes if you move up a tier and there's no change or difference. Anyone else feel the same?

I guess some will find some sort of vicarious kudos in just moving up the various levels. Recently I have been downgraded from Platinum to Silver as a consequence of switching to Sky Glass and haven't any change or difference arising from moving in the reverse direction either!

As mentioned above, it's just a marketing gimmick: the 'benefit' which everyone really wants (a discount proportional to length of subscription) is never going to happen.
