SKY Q and Mini box do not work at the same time

Each box works fine when it is on and the other is on standby. When both boxes are on at the same time a network connectivty issue/no internet error occurs. The mini box then goes to a blue screen error whilst the main box has no internet connection.

Phone sky and they send you a text then cut you off. Unacceptable for £100+ per month.

Hi @frank+ricard 


Try a Reset Settings in the hidden menu on the main Q box
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
Press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

@frank+ricard  Have they always been like this or is this a recent thing?

Nothing has changed although the internet has been up and down recently. I carried out the reset, turned everything off and on, changed the wifi channels, changed the Wifi password and then repaired the mini box from the main sky q box. Working again (not sure what sorted it!)
