Phone line to Sky+ box

Hi, we still have a phone line connected to a SkyPlus box for updates etc.aAre update still done this way or is it via the web so I can disconnect the phone many thanks

Updates have always been carried out over the air via your dish. Yes, you can unplug the phone connection, if you wish.

Updates have never come via the phoneline connection they have always been sent via the dish

 

You have not needed the modem (phoneline) connection for some years 🙂
