I agree, no cost appears and none is detailed when purchasing it. If you were not aware of the price then you could think this was included on the package. Sort it out Sky!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Neilm1975 As @caesarome pointed out this is the Premier Leaques decision as outlined below.
As a result of the continued absence of fans from stadia, the Premier League has announced that fixtures not originally due to be broadcast live, will now be made available via pay-per-view.
This decision has been taken by the Premier League to ensure fans can continue to watch their teams, and also to generate some revenue for clubs currently receiving no matchday income.
Plus the cost is shown if you watch the Skysports Box Office Previews @Neilm1975

Yeah, pretty sneaky that it does not tell you the price. You can order it through box office on the guide without seeing the price at all.
Thankfully I know what a rip-off it is, but imagine a number of people will get caught out by it.

As I understand it Sky and BT are getting the broadcasting costs paid out of the £14.95 fees.
apparently these games are free to clubs & pubs ( I believe the club/pub have to subscribe to BT sports to receive free access to the BT Ppv games but cannot confirm that)
from a a personal point of view I would urge people not to subscribe as I believe a successful trial of PPV at this time will result in PPV becoming the norm after the next round of broadcast rights - and probably applied to the best games not just those games which Sky/BT didn't pick to broadcast.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTotally agree @Raider999 . We certainly don't want PPV being phased in as the new 'norm' in the future.
I've a feeling a lot supporters of the clubs WILL pay the rip off fee of £15.
I certainly ain't paying £15 to watch the gunners.. I'll take my chances other ways

Rather watch paint dry

Mine doesn't say anything about the price at all, and I certainly won't be paying £15 per game. Would have been much more willing to pay extra for all games, but that'd run into the £100s over the month at £15 a pop.

Thanks for all the replies. I am quite disappointed that my package does not include the match. Also that the price does not appear when I click for purchase information (I did not enter my PIN). If the price is £14.95 to watch a match in an empty stadium totally devoid of atmosphere, then that is totally ridiculous!

Just have to hope that most people don't bother, and the trial of pay per game fails.
I'm sure there will be some, but the majority of my friends have both Sky Sports and BT Sports, and I don't think any of them are buying any of the extra games. Fingers crossed that's the case in most circles.

I've just noticed it's not even being shown in 4K.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ianmerseyside if they showed it in 8k , 120 fps, 48-bit video, Rec 2020 color space, HDRR/HDR10+/HLG/PQ, 32-pin reversible superMHL connector on an 85 screen I still wouldn't pay £15..!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePresumably, the costs of broadcasting, which is all that Sky are taking out of the monies taken, are considerably higher to broadcast in 4K.
