Pairing SkyQ remote to SkyQ box
Finally cracked how to pair a SkyQ non-touch remote to a SkyQ box.
First off unpair the remote by pressing buttons 7 and 9 together until the LED above the SkyQ logo on the remote flashes. Now, using the remote's native IR facility to control SkyQ, go to Settings/Setup/Remote/Remote Control. It will offer three options: SkyQ touch remote, SkyQ remote or Easy Grip Remote.
Regardless of which remote you actually have (in my case the basic SkyQ remote) select the SkyQ touch remote and follow the on screen instructions. You should now have the remote (whichever it is) paired via Bluetooth.

Re: Pairing SkyQ remote to SkyQ box
Sky stopped doing the 'touch' remotes quite a while ago now.
You can only have 1 remote paired via bluetooth. Any others are using IR.
Sky Q 2TB (V3). 2 x Mini. LG G3 65inch. LG S95 QR 9.1.5 Soundbar. Sky Full Fibre Gigafast Broadband.
