No sound on sky q box

I've no sound on my main  sky 2tb box I've tried 

1 different hdmi port 

2 changed hdmi lead opposit ends 

3 different hdmi lead 

4 rest setting on sky q box 

5 rebooted box 3 times 

6 gone in settings fried dolby ,normal and dolby digital

Very very very longshot  but possibly try a power down restart of your  TV

@Woodymuddy02  Very thorough, you have checked that the TV isn't muted by any chance? Or the sound settings on the TV haven't been messed with?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

hi @Woodymuddy02 just checking -  when you say rebooted your SKY Q box have you completely powered off & left it at least 30s before re-applying power ?

Yes unplugged for about 5 mins

Hi sorted now even even though I tred freeview first and the sound worked as a last resort I've rebooted my tv unplugged and hey presto sound back on

had the same issue and the same solution restart your smart or android TV

After trying rebooting my SkyQ Box, fiddling with settings and changing the HDMI cable, I read this thread.

 

Powering everything down sorted out the sound issue. Thanks you!
