No search results for programs I know to be on?

Why do I not get voice search results for programmes I know to be on? For instance, I know the channel Talking Pictures is currently running a series of the Laurel and Hardy two-reelers, but when I search 'Laurel and Hardy' I only get one result, which is a BBC documentary.

I know for a fact, from experimentation, the system looks for words in the search string, beyond that of the programme's title, i.e. in the programme's synopsis, so it should be finding them, yes?

  • Do they come up when you do a normal search?
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

Unfortunately I don't trust the search.

It does find many things but not everything it should.

I posted about it a while ago - one of the tips the community gave me can be to 'HD' to the title - although this doesn't help your case

Peronsally I think they have spent more effort on integrating with the likes if Disney than making sure SKY content gets properly returned
