New building installation site survey

Can somebody please direct me to the correct department within Sky that I can contact to have a site survey arranged for my new house to prepare for a new Sky installation. If the Sky installation is possible I need it to be underground in a conduit and that is why I need to contact Sky as a matter of urgency so my contractor can supply the correct conduit. If that's for internet access, it's not Sky you need, it's Openreach.  ISPs don't provide infrastructure other than a domestic router once a broadband subscription is in place.

For satellite TV, Sky don't do pre-build consultancy or pre-occupancy installation.  If you require specialist satellite television infrastructure, you'll need a specialist installer.

Thank you. It is actually for Sky TV so I will just get the contractor to install a suitable conduit and when the installer comes along they can use the conduit.

Sky installers typically won't do that: they just aren't allocated enough time to be fishing through conduit.  If you want to go down that route you'll need to get the dish location pre-cabled by an independent satellite installer, but it must be where a Sky installer can reach it while working to their own guidelines (and even then a Sky installer can refuse to complete the installation).

Remember that Sky Q only uses a single cable pair contiguous from dish to main box location, and there should not be any distribution hardware or filtered faceplates en-route.

I am not sure I am barking up the right tree here as it is Sky fibre I am going to use not Sky satillite.

'Sky fibre' is for broadband internet access, and is delivered over Openreach infrastructure from a fibre cabinet, G.fast pod or fibre POP.  Sky television requires a satellite dish: there is no 'dishless' version in the UK.  'Sky' satellite signal does not deliver internet data.
