Yes but it requires an Openreach engineer to go and physically connect cables at the Exchange/Cabinet to make your line route through Sky's infrastructure. 

I'm guessing you didnt give Sky enough notice on the house move? This lead times have always been the case and I suggest you look at a 4G alternative to tie you over until the broadband gets activated.

Your billing should not start until the service is active. If it does you can claim this back after the billing period has ended.

You will also be entitled £5.04 per day until it is activated under the auto compensation scheme

Only if the scheduled activation date is missed, though, not for the time waiting for that date to arrive.

Yes your right sorry. Compensation will only be provided if a different date was previously promised.
