Internet Issue-Another Glass Bug
This week another SkyGlass Bug started occurring on my TV. Despite a stable broadband connection and the TV connected with the latest quality Ethernet cable the TV keeps deciding that there is no Internet connection. Solution? Guess What? Switch it if for a few mins and back on. Come on Sky, sort out this bug ridden software. Us early consumers are just being used as beta testers and deserve some discounts till you get the platform stable !!!!

Re: Internet Issue-Another Glass Bug
@DavePoynt Not sure how long you are unplugging for when you get this problem but in my case leaving it without power for 30mins before plugging back in worked. Also if possible try to ensure that the connection to your TV is by ethernet cable if possible as this is more stable. Finally if you do have an ethernet connection would also advise you to turn WiFi off in your settings (standby overnight should also be turned off in settings as well). Hope the above helps

Re: Internet Issue-Another Glass Bug
@WG+Wright I switch off for about 5 mins and that always works. As I said, I am already connect via Ethernet and also have the Wi-Fi switched off. It's clearly just yet another software bug amongst the many others. Cheers.

Re: Internet Issue-Another Glass Bug
@DavePoynt what firmware is your set running? In my experience QS004.08 does seem to have sorted the ethernet connection not being identified issue. If your set is still on QS002.08 there are reports that the rest of the Glass units should be updated this week.

Re: Internet Issue-Another Glass Bug
@Chrisee Thanks. I'm still on 2.08. Hope the 4.08 solves some of the bugs. Soooooo many to sort out yet.
