Installation delay (ROI)

Mi broadband installation was supposed to be on 12/11 but, for some reason, the engineer was not able to complete it, apparently some issue with the fibre. He's gone AWOL since and, apparently there's no way to get an update on when the setup is going to happen.

In the meantime I had sent already the cancellation for my old broadband so, if I don't get the new connection up and running over the next couple weeks I won't be able to work.

That would be great to know a plausible timeframe for the installation.

No-one here can know that, and unfortunately Sky support may well not either if Open Eir are anything like Openreach.
