Hi, has anyone had trouble reverting back from sky q to Sky+HD.?

I stay in a flat so it's a communal system: I had various issues since it was installed. Including pixels. Engineer came out and advise the reading as re too high for the system. Contacted factors, aerial contractor came out and advised it should never have been installed. At s charge to us, he has give my sky q a separate thing to plug the cable to . But I'm looking to revert to sky +HD again. But they are refusing to do this. It seem easier to organise a trip to the moon. I'm not looking to reduce my subscription, just change the box but they just won't do it: can anyone help me in getting their sorted. Thanks

So far as  I'm aware, it's no longer an option to revert to Sky+HD.

Is your Sky Q box still not working correctly? If that's the case, I'd recommend reporting that back to Sky again.

It is an option, but the hoops you need to go through seem near impossible . They are just making it awkward. But they can do it, if they wish to. It's been a nightmare.  I'm going to see out my contract for the next few months and then I'm going to cancel el everything . I'm fed up with yeh servcie standards I receive every single time I need to call sky

When I lived in a complex that had a communal system a year or so ago, I had Sky Q, the engineer came and set it up for Sky Q, I had multiple issues with breakups and reverted to SkyHD+ fine.

Sadly sky did nothing, and I was naughty (changed the inputs in the cabinet myself) and reverted back to Sky HD, after doing so Spoke to sky who changed my package accordingly, but yes they weren't going to do it themseleves!

Hi Dave. Thanks for that. It does seem to sornthing they don't want to do. I got it that they want people to love on to the newer systems etc. but if it's affecting the experience they should be able to revert back where required. Unfortunately I'm not technical at all, not do I have my previous sky +HD box as they took it away when I changed to skyQ. I hid have someone trying (well he says he is, time will tell) to blurt the decline decision overturned. But it will involve yet another engineer visit (as the notes in my case advised they had sent out the wrong engineer yesterday). Honestly, this whole experience and other a I have had with them, once my contract is up I'm going to go else where as I neee to know that if something goes wrong with a service I'm paying for, then they help to fix it quickly, professionally and efficiently. And that just hasn't been the case with me  at all

@MD07  no you don't I was lucky because the cabinet was awful at the complex in the car park not secured at all.  I managed to use 2 legacy connections on the device (forget the model now) to get it back up but wouldn't recommend it at all!
