HDMI cable issue

Hi, this message is constantly appearing when we turn on our sky q box. Sometimes it works no problem then other times this message appears! Anyone else have this problem before and how do I resolve it?

@CiaraMcK  You need to wait for your images to be moderated, it does mention this on the header above your post  prior to posting

Is the Q box connected directly to the TV?  (Not via an AV amp or soundbar for example)

 

Have you another cable to try?  Did it used to work and then stop?

 

What make/model of TV?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Yeah it's connected directly to the TV! It's a Samsung tv! It's been happening on and off for almost two months, I haven't tried another cable as I don't have one and don't want to buy one as the box and equipment is only new!

Is the TV using a One Connect? They are notorious for not working all that well and I've read of Sky having all kinds of problems with them.
