Green voice light on but no calls in or out

I was upgraded to fibre to house last week and I think I have had no phone since then.

I have plugged into router and rebooted and green light has come on but I still cant make or receive calls.

Could there be a fault on line or is it me?

Sorted. I tried to put cable left by sky in phone socket into back of the router instead of phone straight into back of router . Voila. phone socket is redundant as calls are made via the router.

Why couldnt Sky Engineer just do that when he was here. It would have taken him seconds not hours for me.

@Lainey123Have you tried another phone in the back of the router in the plug for the right region to see if you hear a dial tone.
