Sorry, we've not been able to uncover anything in the Fox HD broadcasts thus far and if you've now spotted issues with another channel then we'd look to carry out the work suggested by the engineer previously. If you're unwilling to have this work done then an agent can outline your remaining options if you contact us.
Thanks,

I've caught up with The Simpsons new series this weekend and the break up of the picture was outrageous! This is obviously a problem at Sky's end.
Even I know it's clearly a problem with new animated programmes!

Similar to a number of posts in the thread, I watch the Simpsons which I have recorded from Fox HD each week and every episode has problems with the picture at least 4 or 5 times throughout.
Is there nothing that can be done?

@Kei+Mthanks for getting back to me, I'm afraid the last engineer visit went fine, engineer did many tests on the cabling, dish and even changed the LNB for good measure,.
I don't want to sound like I'm having a strop here but the same issues are clearly affecting others, and I share the comments on last weeks New: Simpsons episode on Sky One HD (ie, it was absolutely terrible)
I'm not prepared to have my house ripped apart for the sake of broadcast issues, specially when another pair of cables to another room have been tested with the same results as previous.
I'm now due back to work next week and will be working 6 day weeks until atleast the end of summer, and I don't wish to start having diagnostics visits started again, so I see it like this.....
Again, I don't want the above to be taken in a negative way, however I also expect more for Sky TV as the UK's premium provider.
Best Regards 🙂

Maybe rather than tweeting nonsense you can acknowledge & fix the outrageous picture break up & spoiling of every new episode!

I'm starting to think that the issues is no loner up for discussion.... A wee bit of the new cancel culture rearing its head.

No point in starting a new thread with Sky One picture problems! We've made our point known & collectively shown our dissapointment!
I've got an eye test next week maybe I should let the optician know I keep seeing random picture break up on animated shows on Sky? 🙂

🤣
Let us all know how it goes, apparently we're all in need of our peepers fixing.

Seriously? I recorded this a few minutes ago and happens regularly.

Exactly @MatthewF40

My last post was for @Kei+M BTW, seems incredible Sky cannot acknowledge this as a glitch.

@Kei+Mplease look into my complaint submitted, getting the run around and now I've been forced to go social.
I'm asking for a goodwill gesture to continue our customer relationship but I'm quickly swaying towards Ombudsman and complete cancellation of the service.
It's clear the issues exist, I don't know how you can't find them but selections of customers can, but I'm not seeing much good faith from Sky to resolve this.
Don't ignore us.

Find out more@JitteryPinger see here for details of Sky's complaint process you will find if you contact the ombudsman without following that you will simply be told to do that first. Sky may release you from contract but you cannot require them to do so but they have a good record on satisfying complaints. The ombudsman only gets involved where the complaint cannot be resolved.
