Re: Epgservices sky never miss

It's just YET ANOTHER example of Sky's pathetic customer services really. They got rid of series reminders with no realistic replacement, now they get rid of Never Miss. I don't want the crap Sky suggests, I want to see when the next series of something I actually WANT to watch is on so I can record it, because you won't let me set a reminder. I want to remind myself when to record a film because I'm not paying for rentals above my already extortionate subscription fees. Oh well, time to do the package shuffle again...

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

So Sky get rid of the one feature that almost made the expensive subscriptions more palatable!

I used Nevermiss often to set reminders for old movies, more obscure series etc when they are not yet scheduled.
I'm sorry Sky, but you are being left behind by the competition now....I shall be using the streaming services elsewhere more and more often, until one day, you will see all us loyal Sky customers have disappeared!

You didn't even have the courtesy to inform us in advance, so we could make a note of the nevermiss lists we had.

Surely you could at least have sent us that in an email?

Poor customer services Sky. How long before you just decide to stop something else we rely on with no explanation?

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I used Sky Never Miss because the series link function has never worked efficiently.  I either get repeats of programmes series linked that I have  already seen or series don't get linked at all and I miss episodes.  I am very very unhappy about this.  Also the suggested programmes on the home page are very rarely things I watch.  I'm just so cross.  If there was a suitable alternative to Sky Q  I would cancel my subscription.  Please please bring Sky Never Miss back.

@Elveron

This is my unsatisfactory  reply from Sky:- NB They’re replying as if I was the first person to complain!!

I understand from your email that you're unhappy with Sky Services because of the permanent removal of Never Miss feature also you're disappointed as no prior notification was given before removing hence you want Never Miss feature to be added back. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

I appreciate you for being a loyal Sky Customer for all these years and I also appreciate that you took the time to highlight this to us. please be assured,we value you as a customer and assure you that your feedback has been taken into consideration. We will also implement this feedback to improve the service we provide.

And both Amazon & Netflix offer HDR content, this gives way more improvement in picture quality than 4k alone.

I remember when sky was the most advanced TV service in the world,  no more.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

The thing that really gets me annoyed about Sky most recently is the cinema package.
Back when it was sky movies I don't remember having to pay extra on top of my subscription to watch a movie from the "back catalogue".

Granted, the premier latest movies you paid extra for if you wanted to see it soon after it finished from the local odeon etc, but if you could wait a few months it would be available free (apart from the movie package Pack I was already paying for). Now it seems that after a while being available on Sky Cinema it gets removed and placed on pay to view! And then they have the cheek to bring back old movies from 10, 20 years ago and charge you to watch them too!

Begs the question what do I pay the Sky Cinema subscrition for?!?

I used to put a movie on nevermiss, that I'd like to see, but not pay a premium for, and when it was scheduled, got the email reminder. Almost a click and forget! It would pick up a movie scheduled on Chanel 4, let's say,  and remind me...great! The same "older" movie on sky Cinema at the same time I'd have to pay to download........hmmm maybe, just maybe I've uncovered the real reason why nevermiss got canned!? Just saying!

Sky is out of touch with its user base - Bring back Sky NEVER MISS!!

I am really angry about this decision and that my data (tracking all my favourite programmes) has been deleted without any communication or warning from Sky .  The alternative proposed by Sky is rubbish and miles away from what it is replacing:

1.  Ability to keep track of ALL the programmes I want to watch

2. Be informed via my email when new series is due to start or to watch replays for those I have previously missed

3. Allow me to record series via that reminder

4. Allow me to log on and manage my favourite programmes

I have checked proposed alternative.  It brings up new series that Sky thinks I need to see - recommends.  I don't want recommendations.  I don't want to have to go in and check this out on a regular basis to be sure I don't miss my programmes.

Please reconsider this decision.

It has also deleted all of my tracked data without any warning.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I wondered whether it was worth drawing up a petition for everyone to sign and then send to the CEO so he can see the full extent of disgruntled customers, with wording taken from our various complaints about why we miss its loss from this thread?

I have no idea of how to set up, but sure someone else would know.  Then maybe put a link in all the NM various threads to the petition and hopefully we would get a decent amount of people signing.

Regrettably I'm pretty certain it wouldn't result in Sky bringing back Never Miss.

I'm convinced by the abruptness of its withdrawal and Sky's tight-lipped response to subsequent complaints, that the reasons for its withdrawal were so compelling that Sky simply can't reinstate it under any circumstances.

Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!

so how do I find out whats coming up soon ? Even the new box update is rubbish,  no recommendations. New series is a waste of time there is nothing of my interest. I was told that it is going to recommend other programs of a similar nature but nothing coz no way do I watch anything that's close to love Island, dog shows, farming ! The home button just a waste of time, sky store has 2 buttons its own & in cinema, Netflix is in demand & apps oh and on apps twice.online videos is that not what you tube is for ? If you didn't repeat everything it would be easier to use.the new recordings planner is not good again you don't get the option to look for similar programs. If I had to pay for sky I wouldn't its getting pointless.

Re: Sky is out of touch with its user base - Bring back Sky NEVER MISS!!

As per my previous posts on this forum - can we be sure our data has been deleted?

The programmes and movies we like could give away far more about us than we realise so where is this data now?
